The company that operates the lanes
1000 James Apartments LLC builds and runs cross-border communications infrastructure under the JAP brand — corridors, registrations and the measurement that keeps both honest.
Why JAP exists
Communications stop being simple the moment they cross a border. Quality varies lane by lane, every destination has its own registration regime, and the companies selling capacity are rarely the ones measuring it. Most teams solve this by accumulating vendors — one per region, each with its own contract, console and version of the truth. JAP was built to collapse that into a single operated platform: one account, one API, one invoice, and delivery figures that come from handsets rather than gateways.
How we operate
We buy, build and continuously test corridors into 190+ countries, holding each one to a handset-verified delivery floor. A lane that falls below its floor is pulled from routing before your traffic feels it, and it stays out until it recovers.
Registration and consent are treated as part of the corridor rather than paperwork bolted on afterwards. Sender IDs, 10DLC campaigns, templates and opt-out handling ship with the lane, because compliant traffic is what carriers actually prioritise.
We stay deliberately small and senior. When a corridor misbehaves you talk to the engineer who owns it, and the trace they read is the same one exposed in your console.
Operating principles
Measured on the handset
Every delivery claim traces to a receipt or a probe test you can audit yourself. Gateway acknowledgements are not evidence.
One account, one truth
If it crosses a border for you, it appears in one console and on one invoice, priced in one currency.
Compliance is throughput
Registered, consented traffic is the traffic carriers let through. The guardrails are the fast path, not friction.
Boring where it counts
Failover, capacity and settlement should be invisible. Surprises belong in the changelog, never on the invoice.
